Value for my money

I was looking for some good Italian wine without breaking the bank and found Vineggiamo. I grabbed a bottle of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo when it was on one of their promotions. The price was competitive, especially with the 'sconto newsletter' I got. It was a good deal. The delivery took a week, but for the price I paid, I can't complain much. I really appreciated the savings. The wine was enjoyable, a real win for my budget. Will definitely keep an eye out for more deals.

Got some Pinot Grigio

Just got some Pinot Grigio from here. It was pretty straightforward. Found what I wanted, put it in the cart, and it showed up at my door. Took maybe 6 days. The wine was good, just what I was expecting. No fuss, no drama, which is how I like it when I'm buying stuff online.

Good Barolo, slow shipping

I ordered a bottle of Barolo from Vineggiamo. The wine itself was quite good, tasted authentic as expected. Packaging was sturdy, no issues there. Shipping took about 8 days to get to me in California, which felt a bit long. I wish they offered a faster shipping option, even if it cost a little extra.

Decent Chianti, okay service

My first order from Vineggiamo was for a Chianti Classico. The website was easy enough to navigate. I placed the order on a Monday, and it arrived the following Friday. The tracking information was clear, and the bottle came well-protected in a custom box. I had a quick question about pairing, and their customer service responded within 24 hours, which was fine. The wine itself was a solid choice for the price. I noticed they had some other interesting regional wines I might try in the future, like the Vini della Sardegna. Overall, a pretty standard online wine buying experience.

Are their wines really coming direct from small Italian places or is it just a marketing thing? Kinda skeptical.

J Jeff Johnson 3 weeks ago
From what I gather they work pretty close with the wineries. The stuff I've had feels pretty authentic, not like mass-produced imports.

i think it's legit. a friend who's really into italian wines vouched for them, said they pick stuff from smaller, traditional estates.

Can you use more than one coupon code on an order? I've got a couple from emails and want to stack them if possible.

A Adam D. 1 month ago
Nah, usually you can only use one code at a time. Learned that the hard way lol.

Pretty sure they don't allow stacking coupons. Also, if there's a quantity discount already applied, a coupon might not even work with it. Double check the terms.

hey, anyone order from here to like, California? wondering about shipping times, usually a nightmare for wine.

M Megan D. 1 month ago
Yeah I got a case last month to LA. Took about 2 weeks, which isn't terrible for overseas honestly.

Mine was 10 days to SF, packaging was super solid though. No breaks or anything.

How do these guys compare to Tannico or Vino.com? Better selection, pricing, anything like that?

J Jason Turner 1 month ago
Vineggiamo's selection feels more curated, like they actually picked out specific regional wines, unlike Tannico which is just huge. Prices can be competitive, especially with their deals.

I'd say for deep dives into specific regions, Vineggiamo is better. For just general Italian wine hunting, the others might have more overall volume but less 'boutique' stuff.

Does anyone know if they have a first-time order discount or something like that? Trying to save a few bucks on my first purchase.

E Emma R. 2 weeks ago
Yup, definitely! Sign up for their newsletter, they usually send one for new customers.

Most online wine places do, it's pretty standard. Check your email after you sign up, might take a few minutes to arrive.

What happens if a bottle arrives smashed? I'm worried about ordering wine online and having it damaged in transit.

M Michelle Brown 4 weeks ago
They're pretty good about it. Just contact them with pics and they'll sort it out, replacement or refund.

Mine arrived perfectly but I've heard from others they have good customer service if something breaks. Packaging is super sturdy too, individually wrapped.
